DAY 1 (continued) Bikewell Bear gave Pedals a helmet of her very own to use. Pedals promised to never, ever ride her trike without putting her helmet on first! Remember: Before you get on your trikes, you must always put on one very important thing. It goes on your head . . . it buckles under your chin . . . and it comes in lots of bright and shiny colors just for you . . . can you guess what it is? Class answers: “Your helmet.” (Announce: “That’s right! It is a helmet – and it protects your head from accidents and boo-boos like Pedals the Bunny had. Remember to always wear your helmet.”) 12
